Overview – As a Hair Stylist you will wash, condition, blow-dry, cut, style, perm, straighten and colour hair. You might also advise clients about hair products on sale in the salon, carry out reception duties and deal with payments. Some Hair Stylists are self-employed. You’ll also perm and colour hair, and diagnose problems with the hair and scalp.
